What to expect

Your first visit

We would love to see you at any of our services. Here is what a Sunday morning usually looks like, from the moment you walk in.

Greeted at the door

As you arrive you will be greeted by one of our stewards, who can help you find a seat.

Worship and teaching

Our services are usually led by one of our Pastors and begin with a time of sung worship.

Readings, notices and prayer

Bible readings and a talk follow, alongside notices, times of prayer, and news of a group or ministry.

Groups for 0 to 18s

Children and youth head out partway through to their own groups, run by our checked team.

Tea and coffee

Stay afterwards in the foyer and lounges. It is the easiest place to meet someone and ask a question.

Communion

Communion is served regularly. We share this meal together to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus and the ongoing work of God in the world. It is open to all who love God.

  • Small pieces of bread are served to remember Jesus' body.
  • A small cup of non-alcoholic red juice is shared to remember Jesus' blood.
  • You are very welcome to remain in your seat if you would rather.

A warm welcome

  • There is no dress code. You will be welcome whatever your background, age or experience of faith.
  • Please do talk to any of our leaders, stewards, volunteers or the person sitting next to you.
  • Tell them you are new and ask anything you like, or simply say hello.
  • If you would like someone to meet you when you arrive for the first time, just get in touch and we will arrange it.

We also meet through the week for small groups and activities.
